YWTP Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 8, 2026

YWTP is a cycle-tracking and wellness app designed for athletic women. Your privacy is not a feature — it is the foundation this app is built on. This policy explains what data YWTP handles, how it is stored, and what control you have over it.

The Short Version

Your data never leaves your device. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no third parties. Everything stays on your phone.

What Data YWTP Stores

YWTP stores the following data locally on your device to provide cycle tracking, workout logging, and personalized insights:

Cycle and Body Data — Period start and end dates, cycle length, flow intensity, cramps, desire, recovery, appetite, mental clarity, energy levels, mood, and sleep quality.

Workout Data — Exercises, sets, weights, reps, and personal records.

Food Data — Meal descriptions and quality tags (nourishing, neutral, indulgent).

Apple Health Data (optional) — If you grant permission, YWTP reads sleep duration, heart rate, heart rate variability, and step count from Apple Health. YWTP does not write data to Apple Health.

Preferences — Theme selection, birth control mode, onboarding responses, and display settings.

Where Your Data Is Stored

All data is stored locally on your device using SQLite and standard on-device storage. There is no cloud database, no remote server, and no user account system.

YWTP does not transmit any data over the internet. The app functions fully offline.

Device Backups

If you use iCloud Backup or iTunes/Finder backup, your device backup may include YWTP’s locally stored data as part of the standard backup process. This is managed by your device’s backup settings, not by YWTP. You can manage backup preferences in your device’s Settings under iCloud or through Finder/iTunes.

Third-Party Sharing

YWTP does not share, sell, license, or transmit your data to any third party. There are no analytics services, advertising SDKs, crash reporting tools, or tracking pixels in the app.

Data You Choose to Export

YWTP allows you to export your period and check-in data as CSV files using your device’s share sheet. Exported files are created temporarily and deleted after sharing. Once you share a file via text, email, or another app, that copy is governed by the receiving app’s privacy practices, not YWTP’s.

How to Delete Your Data

You can permanently delete all data stored by YWTP at any time:

Open YWTP → Settings → Reset All Data → Confirm

This erases all cycle data, body signals, workouts, food logs, insights, preferences, and any Apple Health data stored locally by the app. This action cannot be undone.

To fully remove all YWTP data from your device, delete the app. To remove YWTP data from your iCloud or iTunes backup, delete the app before creating a new backup.

Children’s Privacy

YWTP is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, deleting the app removes all locally stored data.

Apple App Privacy Details

As reported in the App Store:

Data Used to Track You: None. Data Linked to You: None. Data Collected: YWTP collects Health and Fitness data, Fitness data, and Sensitive Information (body signals) for app functionality only. All data is stored on-device and is not linked to your identity.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated date. YWTP does not collect contact information, so we cannot notify you directly — we recommend checking periodically.
